I cofounded Progeny Ventures, a consultancy that supports fundraising and monetization strategies for early stage companies within the social- and environmental- impact spaces. It has been rewarding and knowledge-expanding to work with companies forging new markets in Agricultural Technology, Distributed Hydropower, Remote Voting, and Longevity Therapy. Media and AI are well represented within the trajectories of companies with whom Progeny has been recently working.

I am currently developing Laughing Krill, an organization normalizing in-home professional garment production so that any sewing machinist can produce our garments regardless of their proximity to a production studio or their availability for conventional timeline expectations. The goal is to fortify the culture of purchases outside of traditional fashion supply chains, and to standardize the distributed crafting of replicable products so that self employment is more attainable.

I received a BA (Hons) from Central Saint Martins, where I studied womenswear fashion and explored apparel ideas for speculative futures. I received a MDes from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, where I studied interrelationships between irl society and algorithmically structured social flows. While at Harvard I was affiliated with groups/courses/selections at Harvard Innovation Labs, the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society, and MIT Media Lab. While at Central Saint Martins I was finalist for a prize sponsored by Louis Vuitton.

I am a founding board member of Fair Inventing, a non profit organization dedicated to protecting independent and underrepresented inventors and their intellectual property.

I volunteer and contribute to the Events and Grants committees at Pony Up Rescue Collective, a non profit that rescues horses from slaughter before retraining and rehoming them in forever ‘careers’ and homes.

Earlier in my career I worked in production design for photography, assisting or leading set design creative for publications such as Vogue, Dazed, and Harper’s Bazaar. I also contributed to the design and production of IRL events in forms such as fashion shows, product launches, and seasonal programming at a flagship performing arts institution. Separately, I contributed to the management and/or development of core topical content for a few thought leadership conferences.
