I cofounded Progeny Ventures, a consultancy that supports fundraising and monetization strategies for early stage companies within the social- and environmental- impact spaces. It has been rewarding and knowledge-expanding to work with companies forging new markets such as Agricultural Technology, Distributed Hydropower, Remote Voting, and Longevity Therapy. Progeny is now primarily focused on new companies and projects in the Media & Entertainment spaces.
I also work on Future Versions, a design studio utilizing repurposed textiles for one-off garments based on a simple, modular pattern that can play host to a variety of color and cloth compositions. The pattern is designed so that sewing machinists outside of factory confines can easily construct our garments and deploy creative agency in piecing together a final product, a step in our trajectory. Longer term, our goal is to fortify the culture of purchasing outside of traditional fashion supply chains, and to establish a model for the distributed crafting of replicable products.
Earlier in my career I worked in production design for photography, assisting or leading set design creative for publications such as Vogue, Dazed, and Harper’s Bazaar. I also contributed to the design and production of IRL events in forms such as fashion shows, product launches, and visual installations at a flagship performing arts institution.
